Ingredients:
1 large onion or 2 small onions- chopped
2 medium loaves of sough dough French bread (you can also use corn bread)
1 egg
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons of butter
Handful of sage
1 tablespoon of umami powder (double the Worcestershire sauce if you can’t find)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of coconut aminos or soy sauce
Olive oil for drizzling
Salt and pepper to taste.
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Add umami powder, coconut aminos, and Worcestershire sauce and continue to cook for about 5-10 more minutes or until onions are soft and caramelized.
In a large mixing bowl, add egg, cream, chicken stock, and sage. Whisk to combine. Add in bread and onions. Season well with salt and pepper, and give it a good toss until it's well combined.
Stuff the cavity of the turkey. You could also spoon it into a buttered baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and bake until hot and crusty on top, about 30 minutes.
"Scrumptious!"
