Grinch Cookies

These festive cookies will make your heart grow 3 sizes!


Ingredients:

  • 1 box french vanilla cake mix, dry mix only

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Green food coloring- 1-2 drops

  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar- plus extra for dusting

  • Heart-shaped Sprinkles


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. In the bowl, cream together cake mix, food coloring, oil, and eggs.

  3. Drop by Tablespoon into powdered sugar. Mixture will be very sticky, roll with a fork through powdered sugar until outside is coated, then roll in your hands to make a ball.

  4. Chill dough balls for 20 minutes in fridge before transferring to a baking sheet.

  5. Put on baking sheet and press 1 large heart candy/sprinkle.

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until just set.

  7. Cool for 3-4 minutes on baking sheet before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

  8. Dust with more powdered sugar.
